Thanks to all the people who downloaded the podcast/audio files. We’ve done about 700mb of traffic from MP3 files alone—hopefully you like it enough to tell others about the podcast.

I’m still waiting on iTunes to list the podcast in their directory.

I DL’ed them! I am amused by these things…

I’m glad you like it, Tyler (or you’re at least amused by it all). Give us a call, mayne.

We’re now up to 1.3GB of MP3 traffic. Which is crazy—we only have 4 files (and the first “show” isn’t even a minute long). But I got plenty of bandwidth… spread the word, people.

Is your voice freaking low or is it just me Chris? :)

I can’t help it, haha. Like I said in the first audio blog… turn your subwoofers down or prepare for some serious damage.

Hi Chris, new reader thanks to 9rules.

I’ve heard the podcasts, and they were, umm, funny. I wouldn’t mind listening to more. They’re don’t have the usual podcast format. :)

You do have a very very low voice. And Annie’s got a high tone. Quite a match.

Anyhow, i’m enjoying the site, keep it up guys.

I don’t know anything about the usual podcast formats, but if ours don’t have one it’s because we don’t really listen to other podcasts.

I did try listening to a few when we first started actually calling our recordings a “podcast”, but the only one I listen to regularly is WQN5, an indie hip hop record label podcast, run by the good folks at QN5 Music.

Well… I can fake a high voice, but Annie can’t fake a low voice. So I’m slightly cooler than her, I think.

By the way, loyal comment readers: My plan is to have the next audio up within a week. If I don’t make it, you’ll at least get a shameful comment from me on this page.

Update on the upcoming Shows:

I was very close to releasing the next audio a few days early, but it would’ve been the next, next audio because I thought I killed Show #5.

The version of Show #5 I had on my PC was two audio files mixed together because instead of muting the other tracks and saving only the podcast audio, I accidentally left the other tracks on—so it sounds like two audio files are playing at once (since that’s basically what’s happening).

So I deleted it and moved on to the next audio recording and finished that up. I have most of the post content written and ready to go.

Just to be safe, I did a search of my Mac computer and it turns out that I was smart enough to save the previous audio project. All the tracks are separate and I was able to save the audio properly—with the other tracks muted this time. So Show #5 is saved…

I’m still going to try to meet the deadline I set for Show #5. And Show #6 will come shortly after, since it’s pretty much completed.

I crown MMG Audio with the Most Unprofessional Podcast Ever award, haha.

Hey guys, been listenin to your podcasts, very amusing. It’s nice listening to people who are happy, far too much negativity in the world. :) Weird that a NZer can randomly start listening to your podcast eh? Well keep up the goodness guys. -Geni

Hey Geni, thanks for listening—I’m glad you like it.

New Zealand people are cool with me. I guess this means I won’t be receiving a call from you on our comment line that everyone is too scared to call: 266-888-MEAN.

And yes, there’s a lot of negativity in the world. People need to laugh some more. (Well, that and try to fix the negative things.)
