Audio details

The Most Unprofessional Podcast Ever is back with another show. This is the show that was almost lost forever, but was later saved.

Annie and I introduce ourselves a little bit and talk about a wide range of topics (including sand and lint). Also, one of us is brutally beaten. Can you guess who?

It’s been awhile since your last post Mr Chris, aren’t there any rules about content per month on 9Rules? :P

Looking forward to listening to this tonight, especially the beating.

Haha, does 32 minutes of good ol’ audio not count as content anymore?

Thanks for the downloads/listens, people. Almost 1Gb of bandwidth from the MP3s alone this month. I should try to promote this thing some more.

More written content will be coming soon. And the next podcast will be up within a week or so.

Where did you guys get your helium from?

Man, I can’t believe I listened to all 32 minutes. You had me at balls.

Oh, my bad, you just talk like that naturally. Uh, er, bit of a faux paus so I’ll just… hey look, my drink is empty, chat later slinks away

haha, somebody ‘bout to die.

The podcast that’s streamed on Odeo through the flash player does make you sound like you had helium. I had to download the MP3 to check again, and that sounds normal.

I didn’t bother listening through Odeo until now. Yeah, when you stream the audio, it has the “chipmunk effect” as they call it because the audio isn’t encoded at a specific rate.

They say when you download the podcast through Odeo, it’s fine. It only has a problem when streaming through their Flash player. I’ll try to re-encode all the audio into a rate that they like over the weekend.

Haha, Paul, did you listen to the entire podcast like that?

I just re-encoded the audio and now everything works fine through the Odeo flash player. Thanks for letting me know.
