In Australia, I would spin counter clockwise

written on Thursday February 9, 2006 about My Mean Girl

During the course of a normal conversation between my girlfriend and me, something causes Annie to say the words,

Annie: I wish I could flush you down a big toilet!

I tried my best to be an optimist and tell myself that maybe she was just trying to say that I was like a small dead fish or some other beloved childhood pet that had passed away. (Yes, wishing I was a dead animal is being optmistic in our relationship.)

Of course, all those hopes were shattered when I heard her laughing hysterically in her own little paradise while calling me a big turd.

I think the moment Annie saw you spinning clockwise within that giant toilet bowl, sadly waving goodbye on your way to that giant fishbowl in the sky, she’d regret her initial reaction and try to fish you out with the giant toilet plunger.
